Transparancy Act Report
The transparency act shall promote companies’ respect for basic human rights and decent working conditions in connection with the production of goods and the provision of services. At the same time, it must ensure the general public access to information about how businesses work with the topic and possibly handle negative consequences for basic human rights and decent working conditions.
Salmon Evolution is committed to carry out due diligence concerning fundamental human rights and decent working conditions throughout the supply chains. The OECD’s Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Business Conduct is used as a basis for the measures which Salmon Evolution will enact in order to identify and assess adverse impacts, prevent and mitigate such impacts, track improvements and communicate any findings and results.
Salmon Evolution shall carry out due diligence regularly and proportionately to the size of Salmon Evolution’s enterprises, the nature of the businesses, the context of the operations, and the severity and probability of adverse impacts on fundamental human rights and decent working conditions. This process involves several steps through a risk assessment that includes risk rating of our suppliers where risk factors are related to the sector, geography or the specific supplier. Furthermore, including referencing recognized human rights global indexes, self-assessment, and engaging with suppliers.
Salmon Evolution has implemented the requirements in governing documentation and implemented in guidelines for due diligence assessments, supplier code of conduct and internal code of conduct. The requirement of the law is thus a requirement in all our business and a requirement for business partners.
Salmon Evolution has also implemented the relevant supplier requirements with contracts and the supplier code of conduct in order to anchor responsibility in cooperation with partners/subcontractors in a good way to safeguard the intentions of the law.
Moving forward, Salmon Evolution is dedicated to enhancing the processes for identifying and mitigating potential risks and adverse impacts. The Company recognize the importance of collaboration and partnerships with suppliers, global organizations, and stakeholders in achieving our goals. Salmon Evolution are committed to work systematically to prioritize human rights and improve working conditions among our selected suppliers and within our own programs. Continuous efforts will be made to ensure that human rights and ethical considerations remain at the forefront of our operations.
